Google recently unveiled its newest smartphones, the Pixel 6 and Pro. The Pixels are designed for gaming with a dedicated Tensor chip to make them even better at the task.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Google’s newest Pixel smartphones, have been unveiled. Both phones have a striking new design with a polished metal unibody, curved glass, and a bar on the back carrying what the firm claims are the most sophisticated cameras it’s ever produced, starting at $599 and $899, respectively. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are available for pre-order starting today, with a release date of October 28.

On the rear of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro is a new 1/1.3 inch sensor. When compared to the Pixel 5’s main camera, this primary sensor now collects up to 150 percent more light, resulting in photographs and videos with even more detail and richer color. Both phones also include brand-new ultrawide lenses with bigger sensors, ensuring that photographs appear amazing when you want to fit more into your frame.
The Pixel 6 Pro also sports a fantastic telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and up to 20x zoom with Pixel’s Super Res Zoom, which has been upgraded. There’s also a new ultrawide front camera with 4K video recording. Snapchat’s new ultrawide selfie function makes advantage of its bigger front camera. Plus, later this year, the new Quick Tap to Snap functionality will be available only on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro for fast Snapchat access.
Google is also launching a new subscription service called Pixel Pass to coincide with the launch of its new Pixel phones. Pixel Pass costs $45 per month for the Pixel 6 and $55 per month for the Pixel 6 Pro and includes YouTube Premium and 200 GB of Google One cloud storage, among other things. Google Play Pass comes with Pixel Pass, giving you access to games and applications without commercials or in-app purchases.
