The Geeks and Gamers of the AEW (All Elite Wrestling) are looking ahead to 2021. This book explores what that might mean for interactive entertainment, specifically a game called “Mass Effect: Andromeda” which was released in 2016. The idea is to explore how gaming would change if it embraced blockchain technology. Could Mass Effect be an early adopter of this new form?

AEW Dynamite presents “Winter is Coming” for the second year as a themed edition of the weekly program, despite the fact that it is not a true PPV event. The usage of the term did not thrill me last year, and it does not excite me this year. At the very least, AEW’s typeface selection is intriguing. The letter H, which looks like a W, is responsible for this issue of Winter is Coming findings…

Last year’s Winter is Coming findings revealed that AEW made a surprise appearance by Sting at this event. This year, we only received a little homage to that sentimental moment from a year ago, as well as a really good performance by Tony Khan and everyone else involved.
Here’s how Booker of the Year Tony Khan has been handling the spoilt little turd after signing the likes of CM Punk and Bryan Danielson a few months ago…
The game is ended, and AEW has to remove the skin it’s been wearing for the last two years. They’ve got the ability and the tools for the task; all they need to do now is trim the fat and put together the greatest weekly performances they can. I believe Adam Page missed the boat a long time ago (due to poor booking), and the effect of his championship reign has already peaked. As a result, having Bryan Danielson remove the title from him now wouldn’t hurt him nearly as much as people think it would, particularly if Bryan was the one who did it.
ExcaliBORE the horrible started shouting/whoring State Farm over the first lockup from the match we’ve all been waiting for, as he has done many times before. Taz sighing, I’m quite sure I heard him. I understand the need of sponsorship, but copying WWE’s strategy of putting someone else’s product ahead of their own isn’t a good idea.
Bryan Danielson vs. “Wangman” Adam Page (AEW World Championship)
The winner is determined by a 60-minute time limit draw.
Bryan Danielson is a terrific heel. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: he’s a fantastic heel. Like no other, he understands how to be a smug, salty jerk. It’s interesting that the audience couldn’t think of a way to yell for Bryan Danielson, so they chanted Daniel Bryan instead. Page, like everyone else who has shared the ring with Danielson in AEW so far, looked fantastic in this encounter. The crowd were upset as the bout ran out of time, but at least Page and Bryan’s records made it through the night.

After the previous hour-long fight, a nice little squash match was exactly what the doctor ordered. Shawn Spears attempted to persuade Wardlow to stop after only one powerbomb, but Wardlow responded by giving the fans a second. Before informing Wardlow that MJF wants him to pick up some laundry for him, Spears went into the ring and belted Sydal with his chair.
Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb

Shida was banged about by Deeb for a time before making a return after a break. Deeb turned off Shida and attempted to set up an exposed turnbuckle, but Shida thwarted Deeb’s plan.
Dante Martin vs. MJF (AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring)

Before the match, MJF delivered a blistering promo against CM Punk and Texas, provoking the crowd to rally behind anybody who would go down the aisle. Ricky Starks arrived and placed MJF’s foot on the bottom rope after Martin’s finish. Martin strolled inside the Salt of the Earth and tapped out after the misunderstanding had straightened up. FTR and MJF celebrated in the ring, but Sting and Darby Allin arrived to ruin the remainder of their night. With several low-blows, the heels seemed to have the upper hand, but CM Punk stormed down to frighten them away. He then challenged them to a six-man tag bout whenever it was convenient for them.
Without a question, this was the finest episode of AEW Dynamite since it initially aired, owing to Bryan Danielson’s involvement in the first part of the show… mainly. A Wardlow smackdown followed by Serena Deeb’s clinic provided as a good palate cleanser before the main event. Backstage, the Hardy Soyz Young Bucks and Adam Cole were only briefly seen, Kenny Omega is still attempting to get back into Japan, and many of Tony Khan’s Toybox’s jokes and extremely sloppy amateurs were not to be seen.
The only thing holding back the quality of the matches were the usual commercial breaks… oh, and Aubrey Edwards galloping about like a pony on a show while swinging her arms everywhere.
