The creator of the Left 4 Dead game, Turtle Rock Studios, is returning with another zombie co-op shooter. You and three buddies must survive hordes of zombies in Back 4 Blood. The Ridden must be defeated in order to rescue mankind from annihilation. Isn’t it easier said than done? In this narrative campaign, you may select from eight different characters, each with their own set of weapons and equipment. A PvP mode exists between the cleansers (humans) and the Ridden (the zombies). Despite being a spiritual sequel to Valve’s Left 4 Dead series, Back 4 Blood has its unique card-based features that allow you to customize your characters in a “rogue-lite” setting. On October 12, it will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (through Steam). From the start, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to check out this horror game, which may be preloaded.

In our assessment of the last game in the series, Little Hope, we identified significant faults, and the creator Supermassive Games has yet to achieve the heights of the critically acclaimed Until Dawn, which was published in 2015. Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 will provide more open world deliciousness this month. Instead of a forest environment, we’re traveling deep into the fictitious Caribbean fascist terrain of Yara to a more metropolitan location. As you seek escape from Anton Castillo’s tyranny, you try to topple his government. Expect tons of explosions, weapons, and, based on the series’ history, a plethora of bases to take over. Far Cry 6 is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One X/S, PC (through the Epic Games Store or the Ubisoft Store), and Google Stadia. There will be a free upgrade to the next-gen editions if you purchase the PS4 or Xbox One versions of the game. You may also get access to the game via Ubisoft+, the company’s membership program. Samus is now trapped in a hazardous planet named Planet ZDR, developed by the same team that gave you the fantastic Metroid: Samus Returns 3DS remake. In an all-new 2D sidescroller, you must defeat numerous hostile alien lifeforms and the frightening robots known as E.M.M.I. as the bounty hunter. It’s just like back in the day. If you’ve played any of the previous games in the series, you’ll know that you’ll acquire new skills during the journey, and that with them, you may explore new regions in places you’ve already been. This is Samus Aran’s “most intense side-scrolling adventure ever,” according to Nintendo.
